Learn the list of achromatic optical superlenses
2024.08.09
Today we will introduce a list of achromatic optical superlenses for interested friends to learn from.
1.Compared with traditional geometric lenses, optical superlenses not only have excellent optical performance, but also have small size and high integration. They have broad prospects in future portable and miniaturized devices such as augmented reality glasses and mobile phone lenses.
2.For traditional geometric lenses, the wavefront is generally reshaped by changing the geometric shape of the lens, and the color difference in imaging generally comes from the material dispersion of the lens.
3.In the optical system composed of geometric induced currents in traditional electronics, two or one person can be cascaded to compensate for the negative color before passing through to eliminate chromatic aberration. However, this also makes the imaging system more complex and its volume more accurate. For a super transparent box, light of different wavelengths passing through a single superatom will accumulate in different phases, and the phase planes formed by the emission of different wavelengths are generally not the same, so they will be sold at different positions in space, resulting in color differences.
4.Researchers have made a lot of efforts to eliminate the imaging chromatic aberration of coated superlenses. In principle, micro nano superatoms with controllable phase changes provide a new mechanism for controlling color difference. To achieve focusing, it is only necessary to satisfy the following relationship for the phase change at different positions where light passes through:
Among them, x and y represent the spatial coordinates relative to the center image of the lens, the image represents the focal length, and the image represents the phase at the corresponding coordinates. Since the variation of superatomic phase is wavelength dependent, in order to achieve chromatic aberration free black focus, it is necessary to ensure that the phase at each spatial coordinate can be independently controlled.
5.However, for a superatom, although it is relatively easy to generate an ideal phase for a specific wavelength by changing its geometric dimensions, it is highly challenging to simultaneously generate phases that meet the needs of other wavelengths when the wavelength changes.
6.Overall, this is a multi-objective optimization problem that requires sufficient structural degrees of freedom, which also poses new requirements for the design of superatomic materials. Currently, research on achromatic lenses can be mainly divided into two categories: wavelength independent achromatic lenses and continuous bandwidth achromatic lenses.
7.There are many optical lenses on the market, and when you don't know how to choose high-quality products, you can try wavelength optical lens products.
